Jakarta (Antara Megapolitan) -- Special Staff for Public Information Transparency Affairs of the Transportation Ministry Hadi Mustofa Djuraid has confirmed the names of passengers on the missing ATR airplane of Trigana Airways with Aircraft Registration Code PK-YRN.
According to the Ministry of Transportation, an ATR airplane of Trigana Airways with flight number 267 lost contact on Sunday at 14:55 p.m. local time.
The names of the passengers are Endah Muatika Sari, La Boni, Yukita Kalakmabin, Markus Kalakmabin, Oscar Manginto, Menakem Mote, Yosi Mote, Agustinus Luarmase, Dewa Putu Raka, MN Aragae, Yustinus Hurulean, Laode, Waode Suriana, Yohanis Kiabra, Yunus Setamanggi, Supriani, Pariem, Ardono hikmat, Yundriadi, Susilo, Utopdana Hosea, Asirun, Amran, Musfia dan Wengdepen Balmuki.
Furthermore, Esap Aruman, Pieter, Surya, Tenua Babingga, Natikonop Ierenius, Marusaha Sitorus, Armaita, Epiardi, Eki Kimki, Kepideal, Petrus Tekwge, Kasikmabin Enggelbertus, Milka Kalakamabin, Ewelin Urobmabin, Theo Steben Kalakmabin, Yusron, Egeneo Dilam, Enilia Gobai, Ronal Dilam, Alimdam Yawan, Netodius, Marcelino and Palerin.
Meanwhile search efforts have started over the ill-fated Trigana plane carrying 49 passengers that lost contact while flying from Jayapura to Oksibil, Papua, on Sunday.
The chief of the Sentani air base, Col. I Made Susila Adyana, told Antara that his airbase in cooperation with the search and rescue team had mapped out the location of the ATR-type plane.
The Chief of Bintang Mountain Resort Police Adjunct Senior Commissioner Yunus Wally said, the airplane was predicted to have crashed during its flight from Jayapura to Oksibil.
The plane with its pilot Hasanudin and co-pilot Aryadi was scheduled to arrive in Oksibil at 15.15 hours East Indonesia Time but it failed to arrive until the specified time.
The aircraft flew from Jayapura at 14.22 hours East Indonesia Time and it would take around 55 minutes to arrive in Oksibil.
Other people on board including mechanic Mario, cabin crew members Ika and Dita.
