Bekasi, W Java, April 5 (Antara) - The Indonesian soccer team (Timnas) U-22 or under 22 years of age and the Jakarta's squad Persija shared 0-0 score in their friendly match here on Wednesday evening.

"We have some points in this friendly match to be evaluated, so that the team can perform optimally in the next competition," chief coach of the Indonesian soccer team Luis Milla said at the Patriot Chandrabhaga Stadium in Bekasi, after the match in the evening.

According to Milla, his players showed potentials to be good players in facing Persija which he considered as a great team.

"There is still space for them to expand, depending on practices to be more mature," he disclosed.

Earlier, Milla, the new Spanish coach of Timnas, said he was not too concerned about the results of the friendly match between the Timnas U-22 and the Persija.

The important point is that the players should show progress in their game, as when the Timnas U-22 played against Myanmar in the previous friendly match, Timnas` performance was poor.

Myanmar`s soccer team had defeated the Indonesian squad 3-1 in a friendly match on Tuesday afternoon, (March 21), at the Pakansari Stadium in Cibinong, Bogor District.
