The City Government of Depok, West Java, is operating mobile COVID-19 testing vehicles to provide free antigen swab services to local residents in the city.
Depok Vice Mayor Imam Budi Hartono, here on Tuesday, affirmed that his side has provided this service to make it easier for people to get tested for COVID-19 apart from being an effort to track individuals with symptoms and that came in close contact with COVID-19 positive patients.
Hartono remarked that the health workers deployed were personnel from the Helix Laboratory and The Swab. He added that by cooperating with a third party, the Depok City Government had attempted to maximize the mobile antigen swab service.
"Currently, one car and one motorbike are available in each sub-district to provide free antigen swab services. The vehicles will visit the homes of residents, who have contacted the hotline provided. In addition, they will target neighborhoods with red zone status and posts in community units," he remarked.
The vice mayor elaborated that in order to get the free COVID-19 testing service, residents can call several hotline numbers. For the Depok COVID-19 Task Force hotline, residents can call 0822-8877-0678. Meanwhile, 0811-8470-268 is the hotline for the sub-districts of Sawangan, Cinere, Limo, Bojongsari, Cipayung, and Beji.

Moreover, residents of the sub-districts of Pancoran Mas, Tapost, Cimanggis, Sukmajaya, and Cilodong can contact 0878-7051-1359 to get the free antigen swab service.
Hartono advised all people that had come in close contact with COVID-19 patients or experienced symptoms to contact the provided mobile antigen swab service. He emphasized that the services were provided free of charge.

The first COVID-19 case in Indonesia was confirmed in March 2020. To handle virus transmission, the government has been applying several strategies that encompass strengthening the process of contact tracing for COVID-19 cases or the 3T: Testing, Tracing, and Treatment.
