Abstract:

The 72nd anniversary of Independence of the Republic of Indonesia which took place at the State Palace looks more vibrant with the nuances of the archipelago with traditional clothing of various regions. President Jokowi wore customary clothes of Borneo. Her dress resembles a black suit, plus a songket and a headgear. While Iriana wearing a red Minang traditional dress, also complete with a head covering. Not only Jokowi, Vice President and Vice President and ministers and officials who attended also wear customs from various regions.

Very broad spectrum of messages of various customary clothing archipelago submitted Head of State through momentum HUT RI to the people of Indonesia. Traditional clothing characterizes the identity of the nation that was born and developed according to the historical construction and the cultural roots of the Indonesian nation. This spirit will be more imprinted with the strength of the spirit of togetherness in working to build the nation of Indonesia and achieve the targets that have been planned Jokowi - JK government as embodied in the theme of the celebration of HUT RI "Indonesia Work Together". The celebration is whether there is a correlation between regional dress with accelerated development in Indonesia?.

Cultural Capital

In the 21st century, the Indonesian people face a very tough problem that is the ability of the nation's competitiveness in the middle of the world economic arena. Meanwhile, the internal problems of the Indonesian nation in the reform era overshadowed the emergence of a variety of ideological ideology of imports that contradict Pancasila and the 1945 Constitution. To counteract it, it takes strength from the synergy of the people and the government to understand imports such as Communism, Liberalism and Khilafah not to be given space Can grow and develop in Indonesia.

One way to counteract and erode a variety of imported ideals by reaffirming the identity of the nation through cultural capital which one of them increasingly loves the national customs clothing in Indonesia is very diverse. By wearing the national customs clothing, the younger generation can understand and interpret that the basic capital of development is not only capital, human resources and technology but also cultural spirit.

The rapid economic advancements in newly industrialized countries (NICs) are Japan, South Korea, Taiwan, Singapore and Hong Kong, which are widely interpreted differently by development economists and technocrats. Economists see the economic success of the NICs as being motivated by an outward looking development strategy or export oriented. However, citing research from Helen Huges, a book entitled, The Success of Industraliasi in East Asia (1992), that success is more dominantly supported by the strength of cultural capital.

Various cultural capital in Indonesia is the collective leverage energy of the Indonesian nation to oppose imports and promote development. Culture as an autonomous institution that proves to be effective and able to strengthen social solidity and mutual prosperity can be mobilized jointly with the components of human resources, technology and national financial capital. The campaign of cultural capital through customary clothing does not stop at the momentum of RI Anniversary at Istana Negara only, President and Mother Vice President doing tourism agenda to Lake Toba, in the opening ceremony of carnival release, Jokowi advised Enchantment of Lake Toba must be continued every year. Here we see our cultural differences. There are Batak Mandailing, Karo, Toba, Simalungun, and Pakpak. Clothes worn by the community is sortali, tom-toman. This must be maintained, to see all the character of the nation and the differences that unite us.

Sowing the Seed Culture

The most frequent and recurring celebration is where to start the effort to raise the national collective capability in order to obtain a permanent and sustained basis for movement that encourages economic and technological growth. Cultural capital is most appropriate to socialize and disseminate the values of national identity in order to bring the spirit of competition, discipline and high work ethics and toughness to achieve achievement. This opinion does not mean that other efforts are being undertaken. But cultural investment from upstream to downstream that can guarantee the synergy of all national forces.

From the history of progress and the pioneering nations of the world there is no process that can be shortened. A formidable nation entity always stems from a passionate cultural spirit of surrender, not fear of failure and suffering and sacrifice, and a long process from generation to generation. The history of the great nations like the US and the new industrial countries is loaded with such dialectics. And this can not be shortened on behalf of acceleration, cultural graffiti or the like. Because. Sprit contained in the progress and honor of a nation of senantiasi presupposes the availability of cultural seeds that have various karekter like Indonesia.

The government in commemorating the 72nd anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Indonesia brings the words "Indonesia Work Together" to represent the spirit of gotong royong to build Indonesia towards a better future. The "7" in the logo becomes a right-angled arrow to the right on. It symbolizes positive development-oriented development dynamism. The location and position of the number "2" in the logo that looks to embrace the number "7" symbol of the principle of togetherness in working to build the nation of Indonesia and achieve the planned targets. "Work together" shows an approach that embraces and shows the principles of togetherness and gotong royong in building Indonesia to be better. Thus, the principle of togetherness and mutual cooperation that is a family of cultural diversity capital of Indonesia archipelago, has the ability and great motivation to change and achieve development targets in the era of Jokowi - JK government.

Brian E. Flemming, a state management expert, once argued that economic development depends on 3 basic joints namely unification of humanity, developing people and self confidence. Therefore, the unity and unity of the nation we must acknowledge and carry out as a starting point and what we must emphasize to maintain national unity and unity, is consistent and love the national culture.

According to Hall and Citrenbaum (2010), semiotic analysis is an analysis used to understand a meaning, knowledge or understanding of messages from cultural signs and symbols, as reflected in paintings, drawings, photography, syntax, words, sounds, and Body language, as well as the media used and how the messages are delivered. Based on the semiotic analysis, it is clear that the use of cultural symbols in the 72nd anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Indonesia shows a firm commitment that Indonesia under Jokowi's leadership will be all out to maintain cultural survival as one of the development and investment motors in the future. Hopefully.
